The challenge
Born out of a small showroom in Bold Street, Liverpool – Utility has been selling great design since 1999 and has become one of the UK’s top online destinations for classic and contemporary design. With a wealth of knowledge across furniture, lighting and interiors they handpick the best in designer furniture, lighting, homewares and gifts.
With the opening of a new store in Manchester, Utility asked OSS to scope the best solution for a monitored alarm system and CCTV.
Approach and impact
Due to the environment being predominantly retail it was important that the location criteria was satisfied. OSS worked to provide the best solution that worked for Utility but also made sure the system worked to its best ability.
A monitored IP CCTV system was provisioned with the ability to access the system 24/7 using an easy-to-use app.
To compliment, a monitored alarm system was installed, ensuring the highest level of protection for their most valuable assets.
With plans to continue working with OSS when rolling out new stores across the UK we’re excited to play a part in Utility’s success in 2022 and onwards!
