The challenge
Not-for-profit Registered Social Landlord Community Gateway Association meets the housing needs of people in Preston and the surrounding areas. The voluntary association, set up by Preston Council, recently moved to Harbour House at Preston Docks, so that they could provide more facilities and services for their customers and future growth. With the additional space and expense of equipment, they decided they needed to safeguard everything inside, so called on us to help.
Approach and impact
We made sure CGA’s community-friendly space and public computers were all protected, with a comprehensive IP Door Access System along with a new IP CCTV System so people can only enter and exit when the building is open to the public and everything is closely monitored.
